I’ve never installed anything but freeware VST before and for some reason no matter what folder I point reaper to…I can’t get the program to load as an instrument in Reaper.
Where is the VST file that I need to point Reaper to?
I’m assuming it’s not in the core contents folder although I tried pointing Reaper at that too.
Sidenote: When I say point I mean in preferences where it gives you the option to search a specific folder for a VST file.
Mine installed to C:Program FilesVstPlugins
I use the 32-bit version in 32-bit Reaper.
Please fill in your system specs on your member profile page. Please include whether you’re using the 32-bit or 64-bit as they install to different locations.

My hat goes off to you. I was looking in the wrong spot. I’m using a 64x windows 7 machine.
I’ve updated my user profile to include my comp specs.
Super happy thus far. Can’t thank you enough for the quick reply!
Off to play with my new toy 🙂
I’m sure I’ll have a ton more questions down the road.
Got another question already 🙂
How do I update to the latest version? Is there a check for updates tab somewhere I’m missing?
The latest update can be downloaded from your Toontrack account.
Log in and go to ‘My Products’ and select your Beatstation product from the right hand column. Scroll down to the Software Updates section and download Beatstation_WIN_102.zip file. Unzip and install.
