I’ve been using EZ Drummer 2 for years. In particular, I really love the Big Rock Drums EZX pack.
Now that I’ve got Superior Drummer 3, I’m wondering if there is an equivalent pack to get me the same, but more flexible sounds?
Thanks very much!
Without having heard that EZX, I think the Fields of Rock SDX is the best and most versatile SDX out there. I’d pick it for the “if you had to have just 1”.
Though I would have to think the Legacy of Rock SDX would be more “equivalent” to the Big Rock Drums being more 60/70’s based.
Those 2 and Death and Darkness would be my top 3 SDX’s for what it’s worth. (I have all SD3 SDX’s but Orchestral).
SD3 with Fields of Rock, Death and Darkness, Real to Reel, Legacy of Rock, Stories, Hitmaker, Decades, State of the Art, Stockholm, Jazz Sessions, Hansa, Rock Foundry, Area 33 (in order of preference). Plus a few older SDX's and EZX's.
Into: Reaper with Ryzen 5700x, 32GB RAM and assorted SSD's.
Through: Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 Gen2 USB Audio Interface
From: eDRUMin 10 + eDRUMin 8 with assorted Roland and Yamaha pads.
