    Hi,

while you can select and set a Velocity Gate for separate articulations, I think you need to remedy the pedal notes in your module by setting up the cross-talk.

For the CC being sent when you hit the HH; it may be hard to fix while still keeping the feel of it being a real HH. I had the same problem with a Roland VH-11 many years ago – when I hit the HH hard (which I tend to do since I’m not really a drummer) Superior (2) took it as I was moving the pedal, closing the HH.

For me, the only solution was changing the HH hardware; I got myself a Hart Pro ECymbal II, which really made the difference.

You can of course try to experiment with the HH CC mapping on the MIDI In/E-drums settings page.

I don’t really have to even hit the open HH hard…it seems to register the foot pedal even with the lightest touch.

Again, the DTX unit doesn’t have this issue. So is the issue with the output of the DTX?

Is there a “sensitivity” setting I can change somewhere?

…I’d really hate to have to buy new hardware, gah.

Well, I’d start with trying to lower the ClosePosi in UTIL5 in your module and also the SplashSens for the unwanted pedal sounds.

Next, I’d play with the CC mapping on the MIDI In/E-drums page.

    BR,

    John
