Hi…..a newbee here!
I have many of the EZ Mix packs installed on my laptop and have been using the “Amps” & “Classic Amps” packs with my guitar connected to laptop via usb audio interface. My DAW is Sonar Studio X1. My guitar input signal is completely clean/dry (no external effects). Inserting & using the EZ Mix effects (Amp & Classic Amp) I just can’t seem to get a decent sound at all! The effects just sound weak and lacking in quality. For example I love the “Keef” sound on the product demo but when I dial that up it sounds nothing like it! Question…should my input signal be dry?Or are these EZ Mix effects intended for a wet input guitar sound i.e. coming from an amp or a modelled sound?? I own EZ Drummer and love it, but so far I’m very disappointed with EZ Mix and these guitar effects. Perhaps someone can help, I’ll give the product the benefit of the doubt until then!
