In SD2, I could browse to a midi loop (grooves, toontrack midi loops that come with SDX) and then browse to the various drum parts (kick, snare, hi hat) and JUST import that loop part into my DAW. I do this a lot with high hats…record the kick/snare “manually” and then bring in just the hi-hat part from a groove… I can’t seem to figure out how to just take the midi from just one drum part (if that makes sense) midi loop.
I imaging it’s still an option but any assistance on how to find that would be great!
Thanks
Chris
Have a look through previous questions as I think this has already been asked and answered.

Currently you have to right click the groove and “copy”, then paste the parts you want to the track. We have gotten requests to add the option to preview the separate instruments in the MIDI grooves, and we are working on it 🙂
