Hi all I hope someone can help. I am looking at swapping a sound in superior drummer 3 that I get from one trigger on on my Electronic drum kit to a different trigger on my kit. Many thanks for all responses in advance!
I’m not quite sure what you mean. The manual show quite simply how to change a sound. I suspect you mean change the note number which can be done in the edrum Midi settings. I currently away from home so can’t really explain without SD3 in front of me.
try explain a little bit more as I could be wrong about what you want.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Hi Mark thanks for your reply. Sorry I will try to explain better. We have a kit that we like. The snare sound is great for the first chorus. However for the 2nd 3 chorus we want a sound more punchy!
we had a spare trigger on our drum kit. So we added an additional pad to our drum kit in superior drummer. And found a sound we liked.
I would like to swap these sounds around now so that I can use my snare to trigger the more punchier sound and my spare pad to trigger the lighter snare sound.
it’s a straight forward swap. But if I right click on the snare drum in superior drummer interface and change it to the Same kit on The additional pad I am not getting the same sound from my snare and don’t know why?
hope this explains it better. Many thanks
