    TL;DR

The Product Manager is not downloading the EZDrummer 2 or 3, the packs, etc. I had to reset my Mac entirely to make it work last time. Is there anything I can do? The Proxies don’t seem to be the problem as I was told by a rep a few days ago was a potential issue. **I attached a screenshot of what downloads to the folder – but that’s it, just incomplete files.

*I can only download Stand-Alone versions, but can’t find the application after I do so* Any Help appreciated, thanks.*

Won’t Download in current file path…

I have a MacBook and  EZ Drummer 2 which was working fine and purchased EZD3 before it came out, and on launch it would not download. It just sat there. I saw that the files were being downloaded (incompletely) into a Toontrack folder in an odd file path in my iCloud, but that seemed teamwork for other programs – but the normal file path per Toontrack’s help article from a ways back is MacHD/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer – so I tried to recreate it to use in preferences and no luck. Does anyone have any ideas? Nothing will download, and if left to its own it creates a toontrack folder and just creates incomplete 0 kb files. I was already told by Toontrack to make sure no Proxy options were checked, but none were, so that isn’t the problem, I don’t think. Last time this happened I had to completely wipe my harddrve, or at least that’s what made it work again – but my computer was relatively new so I did not mind – I’d rather not do that again.

    Help!

    Thanks!

Could you let us know what the download location is in Product Manager, it will be under preferences.
Have you recently moved any folders (Documents/Desktop for example) to iCloud from local?

The folder: MacHD/Library/Application Support/EZDrummer is the default location of EZD samples once you have run the installer from Product Manager. You shouldn’t be trying to download the installation package files (.dmg) to that location.

The funny thing is, because you mentioned iCloud, and I knew that it was defaulting to an iCloud folder – I just turned iCloud off (for now) completely. Lo and Behold, I open the PM and it starts downloading like normal.

    Thanks for your help!
