i was able to set up the multi 12 in sd and things were just fine until i started adding extra pads (i have a high hat, 3 zone snare and a bass drum). but sd3 (or the multi 12) maps those extra triggers to the same notes that the other pads are mapped to. so if i map the kick drum to be a kick (for example), the pad it shares the same note value with will also change to a kick. or snare, or hi hat, or whatever the case may be; it does it with all three of the pads, no matter where you connect them.
is there a way around this? is there a template i should be using? is there a multi 12 one forthcoming? i’m new to midi instruments so i’m bad at this kind of thing.
Hi,
if your module sends the same note from two pads, there’s nothing that can be set up in SD3 to change or split that. Please check your module’s manual to make sure each pad has its own note assignments.
