Hi everyone,
Was hoping you can help a computer illiterate out…
I have to do a factory restore using my manufactured supplied restore discs. I can do that much because the disc does all the work! But how do I back up my bigger programs such as EZdrummer (and Sony Acid for that matter). I have NO idea how to do any of this stuff. I have a 4g flash drive, will that work? And once I back them up when I put them back on my PC do I have to register them all over again?
Do I have to back up Ezdrummer at all considering I have the actual CD version? Can I just reinstall again from the CD and not have it count against my account as a 2nd installation? I also have one EXP pack (download) as well.
Would appreciate any help or possible links to a “Backing up for Dummies” tutorial.
Thanks very much
Danny Edwards
As long as you don’t change certain hardware on your host (PC), you can uninstall and reinstall on the same machine without it being registered as another authorization. Remember after you re-install from your DVDs, to log into your Toontrack account and apply any of the new updates that may have been developed between the time you received your original disks and now.
