I had EZ Drummer 32 installed in Cubase 5 64bit, I installed the 64bit update. My problem is this: when I open EZ Drummer in multichannel it hogs so much CPU, my DAW can barely run the mix. I’m wondering if Cubase isnt recognizing the 64bit version, because I know 32bit softsynths hog the entire CPU (on 64bit DAW). I can run 5 separate softsynth drum tracks with alot less CPU load than EZ Drummer. Can I delete the 32bit version to make sure I’m running the 64bit program? or does EZ Drummer just use that much more CPU in multichannel?
