Peace there everyone,
By GOD’s Grace, I got EZdrummer3, and I am still learning!
I wanted your help please. I am trying to record the drum parts in bits using my edrum kit, by GOD’s Grace.
So verse-chorus, etc..
I am wondering, how can I hear the last few seconds of the verse as I am recording the chorus. Sort of like a couple of bar to prompt me to enter in to the chorus section and play it.
Help please!
thank you all 🙂 May GOD bless 🙂
Are you recording with a Digital Audio Workstation and if so, which one? Pre-roll would be what you need.
Most DAWS have a count-in feature. You should be able to set the number of bars your want to use as your count-in and then record at the spot where you wish to add your new parts. It should have no problem playing your previously recorded MIDI during the count-in.

Peace Mick and Jordan,
Thank you both
I am editing my drums in EZ outside of protools, as a stand alone because it’s seems a little easier to edit, by God’s Grace.
So I’m looking to prolong pre roll in EZ beyond the one bar count, God willing:)
thank you again
Hi AbeerA,
what you are describing and wish to do is currently not possible in the EZdrummer 3 standalone app. As Mick and Jord suggests, this would best be achieved by using your DAW’s pre-roll. It works as you describe in Pro Tools. You can still record into EZdrummer 3 with it loaded as a plug-in in Pro Tools, just record-arm the EZD3 Song Track and hit Play in Pro Tools.
