I am slaving VE Pro to Dp 9.5 and running superior Drummer 3 in VE Pro.
I made midi fies in superior in the track window.
All midi played in sync when in superior, but when I import it into DP in any way, (direct drag and drop, export midi file, create a song and export that, create a loop in a user folder, whatever I try, it goes into DP out of sync, and the kick drum lengths are overlapping strangely. It looks like one long kick when one first imports into DP.
The DP file is using a conductor track, with only one event, a bpm event of 120 at bar 0. Importing or not importing the standard DP midi into the track window makes no difference. Setting Superior to start at Bar 0 like DP didn’t work.
I was able to finally see that there is an odd amount of midi bars being imported before bar 1, and was able, with quantize On, to shift the midi data by a strange amount of bars and beat tis it was finally in the correct position and played correctly.
Please I really need a detailed tutorial or instructions on what to do whens importing or dragging midi into DP fails to be in sync. Upon import, I tell DP to ignore the midi tempo in the superior midi file as I do not want to edit my DP conductor track.
Thanks
Hi Guys, I am +1 this post. I am in the middle of projects and have not heard back in over 24 hrs, while other posts of mine have been answered. Please tell me what to do when files import back into DP out of sync as described above. Thank you,
I’ll notify the support guys about this matter, and we’ll get back to you!

It was a small bug that caused the issues with the MIDI. It will be fixed for a coming update!

I am still having issues dragging midi from SD 3into DP 8 and above. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn’t,t and I cannot find a reason for it.
The midi dragged into DP is off by a bar. But it also drags in strange hits not inside the DP file. Like a kick a bar early. And then, the fill is not ben one bar off, it is a different value off. The Dp track has no conductor, neither does SD 3.
I am running SD 3.02 build 18286.
