    Hi,

I have the same setup and same problem. The latency only shows up with EzMix 2 and I don’t know how to fix it. I’m running sonar 8 as DAW and sometimes using Line 6 Podfarm for sounds and I don’t have any latency issues with them. Any ideas?

edit: the latency is goes quite bad even with ASIO on.

    Well,

    latency depends on several things.

    – Your hardware and its drivers
    – Your host software and its Hardware Buffer size settings (higher=more latency, lower less latency)
    – If your Audio interface has got some kind of internal Hardware Buffer size setting
    – If your Session/Project is set up with any other latency inducing plugin(s), like e.g. a Multi-Band Compressor on the Mix Bus/Master Fader.

    Thanks for your response.

Do you have any suggestions what I could try to fix this problem?
With ASIO input latency is 14.8 ms and output 29.7 ms. With any other option input is 0.0 ms but output is way over 100 ms. It’s really annoying and unplayable.

And as I said I haven’t faced this problem with any other software so far. Is it just something between my hardware and EzMix or is this a common problem with EzMix?

    Hi,

I’m not sure I understand correctly. Do you mean you have a fixed Hardware Buffer size that can’t be changed when you use ASIO drivers? That would be very strange.
Please try to find info on how to reduce the Hardware Buffer size to something playable.
EZmix is just a plugin, it does not communicate directly with your hardware. In my experience it has very low latency, being a multi-effect as it is.
