Hard Rock EZX work with Superior Drummer 2? Also, DontCrack says the Superior Drummer 3 Upgrade will be discontinued on December 31, 2018. Is this true?

the Hard Rock EZX requires EZdrummer 2.1.6 or Superior Drummer 3.1.2.

AFAIK, the Upgrade offer is discontinued on Dec 31st 2018, yes.

Thank you for answering my questions. Will this be a new policy of toontrack: all new EZX’s (from here on out) will need EZDrummer 2 or Superior Drummer 3? If so, toontrack will be losing some of my business, at least for a year or more, I think. Heck, gutarcenter.com still sells Superior Drummer 2.

AFAIK, it’s not a policy but simply evolving software.
New products will take advantage of new functions, effects, etc in the newer versions of the plugins.
The last version of Superior 2 was released almost 2 years ago, so it would be strange to limit new products to make them compatible with discontinued ones, don’t you think?
