hard rock ezx requirements

I was thinking of buying this ezx, but something is confusing me. On the product page, it says a DVD drive is required. What is it about?

A DVD drive is not a requirement at this time for any Toontrack product.

The description is leftover from when it was released in 2018 and when Toontrack was transitioning from DVDs to an all digital download delivery system in the Toontrack Product Manager.
