Hard on the CPU…

    Hm, you have got a modern PC with lots of RAM for sample libraries. To me, Toontrack is not so hard on CPU consumption as some other manufacturers.

    My idea is, the more active plugins you are using at the same time, the higher the possibility of having audio buffer underrun.

    I would say check your ASIO buffer size and set it higher, maybe to 512 or 1024.

    Any particular presets in EZmix that you have noticed problems with? It normally doesn’t take much CPU but certain effects are a bit more demanding.

    No not really, I tend to just use the preset that fits, the piece am working on. I will pay attention to what type of effect it is to try to keep track. But regardless if it’s one that I really want to use I’ll still have this issue. I believe it’s more about the number of plug-ins that I’m running simultaneously then it is the particular patch itself.
