Hi,
I’ve just bought EZmix 2, and when I use it as a standalone, everything works – I can see action on the in- and output, the effects works etc. but I can also hear the direct clean guitar sound blending with the effects in EZmix 2. How do I work around that?
It sounds as though your audio interface is routing your guitar input directly to your monitors mixed with the output from EZMix2.
That sounds right. But what to do about it? My audio settings is:
AUDIO DEVICE:
Device type: Core audio
Input: USB Audio Codec
Output: USB Audio Codec
Output (L) 1: Output 1
Output (R)1: Output 2
I do not believe that it is an EZMix2 configuration issue.
Check the settings or software mixer for your audio interface.
As I said, “It sounds as though your audio interface is routing your guitar input directly to your monitors…“
Ahhh… I get it now :-). Unfortunately there’s no such thing for my soundcard. I will find another solution.
If you can you supply some details about your system, maybe there’s help to be had…
audio interface?
computer hardware?
OS?
Sure…
– MBP 2013 Retina with Yosemite
– Alesis M1 Active monitors with built-in USB soundcard
The soundcard is class compliant.
I don’t know if the soundcard’s good enough. Maybe I should buy another.
