Cant find a way to delete this, simce i found my answer. Bass lines must be written as guitar tracks in Guitar Pro and when they are brought into EZBass, play perfect.

You can also transpose +12 semitones on your DAW.

I have the same problem. I use a 5 string bass tuned 2 steps down…so A-D-G-C-F. When I want to use any Guitar Pro midi, I need to transpose everything one octave up. I can load the midi, transpose, send the output to EZ Bass, but don’t have access to the articulations then (grid editor).

When I load the midi in EZ Bass, it is instantly wrong. D becomes the low A…transposing notes does not work as all notes are messed up. Any solution?

Found it now…you need to export the bass midi with Guitar Pro, then import the midi in a standard midi track in your DAW, then transpose it +12 tones up, then save the midi…then import your newly saved midi file in EZ Bass.
