Guitar direct input signal audible while recording

Just got ez mix 2 with the guitar gods pack. Sounds great except for being able to hear my clean direct guitar signal underneath the killer heavy guitar. How do I record without hearing the direct guitar signal? A quick search on a solution shows nothing online. Neither did a long search. I just want to get to recording and this is too distracting for me to enjoy the process.

Thanks. Yeah, I eventually figured it out through my focusrite interface. You have to pull down the input signal in the audio interface settings.
