Grooves – triggered through MIDI

I’ve used BFD before and like how I can map the default grooves to keys on my MIDI keyboard. Can I dothe same with EZDrummer?

I can play the drums using the MIDI keys, but can only access the grooves by dragging and dropping. Am I missing something really obvious?

EZdrummer has no way to trigger grooves by midi “note on” data.  You might want to investigate EZplayer Pro which can have multiple grooves loaded into different tracks that can be started independently via midi notes.  I can’t guarantee you that it will be what you are looking for but I just tried it and it will definitely trigger a groove via a midi note.  It can also be set up to loop that groove until you lift your finger off the key or press the key again.

Thanks Dave. I saw a related post which led in a similar direction. I bought EZplayer pro, but can’t get it working… that’s the subject of another post under that forum!
