When I change the midi mapping, for example so all the toms are from nr 41-45, the grooves in the libraries wont adjust to that. So when I use a fill from the library it will hit hi-hats instead of toms. The midi map changes works when I create my own beats but the grooves in the library don´t adapt and use the default midi map settings anyway. So what am I doing wrong here?

It sounds like you are using MIDI within a DAW. SD3 exports MIDI in its default format, and not the MIDI map. The MIDI map is mainly for mapping MIDI controllers to SD3. If you want to keep things uniform, you are probably best to record to SD3’s song track since you will be able to mix your controller with grooves from the library.

Thanks for the fast reply. I´m using the piano roll within Logic and the grooves from the SD3 libraries, I don´t use any external MIDI controller. Thanks for the great advice, just checked now and it seems much more convenient to work inside SD3´s song track.
Thanks
