Grooves are playing different midi notes in Logic

If I drag a groove into the Logic Pro X track that has EZdrummer inserted, the hi-hat will be the crash and the left cymbal will play the tom. I did use the learn button for my ekit. It plays all the right parts. Is there something that has to be adjusted?

Mappings are one way. Dragging a MIDI groove from EZD’s timeline into Logic will be translated to EZD’s default mapping.

Thank you. Yea,  If I know I’m gonna use any Grooves, I’ll set the preset to Toontrack Standard.

It is not so much about using any grooves, as it is about using grooves from either the EZD timeline or groove palette in logic. If you are simply recording grooves from your e-drums into Logic’s MIDI track, then you would use your drum mapping within EZD.

Yes, I probably won’t use the grooves much cause I’m a drummer. But the option is nice to have. What I did earlier is I opened groove in EZ3 and dragged it to drum channel in logic and the hi-hat became the crash cymbal.
