I am a noob and I can’t figure this out. I think I inadvertently messed up a setting when trying to load a groove form Easy Drummer 3 into Logic.
Problem: The groove overwrites the tempo for my entire project. For example my project is in 94 to 100 bpm depending on the arrangement. The groove is 115 bpm. When I add the groove into logic the whole project resets to the groove tempo.
Troubleshooting:
When I first tried to move the groove over I got a pop-up asking about tempo and I must have clicked the wrong option and I don’t know how to fix it.
I’ve been watching youtube videos and searching for a fix but I am coming up short. Any help would be appreciated!
Does the same happen in other songs? You can keep the grooves inside EZD.

Thanked by: jmkratt@gmail.comYes, it happens on every project.
And I know I can keep them in the plugin and move over but I have been moving each piece over at a time, though perhaps this is foolish.
Try selecting and moving them as one. I’ve found it easier to do the articulations in EZD than in a DAW.

Thanked by: jmkratt@gmail.comIt still imports as the original groove tempo and overwrites the song.
At this point I might just reinstall the plugin.
Thank you, Mick! It was indeed a Logic setting where somehow when I paste the Midi it also included the tempo. I was able to reset that in the General Settings/Notifications in Logic.
What a headache, thank you for your help!

It’s only a headache because you clicked on the “Don’t show again” checkbox, whether intentionally or inadvertently.
