In SD2, if you selected a groove and hit Play on the big play button at the bottom of the interface, you could then bounce around selecting other grooves in other sections, and other libraries, no matter what the tempo, or style..etc…and the grooves would just keep playing.
This was a great way to audition a lot of grooves with one initial play command, and the simply clicking on grooves throughout your libraries.
In SD3…you can only keep playback going if you select the grooves in one section. As soon as you go to another sections (Verse, Chorus. Fills, etc) the playback stops…and you have to launch it again from one of the grooves in your new section.
There is no “Big” playback button to keep playback going…so leaving a groove section terminates playback.
This makes bouncing around through the libraries a PITA…you constantly have to restart playaback.
This is not an improvement…this is worse than how it was in SD2.
Am I missing something in SD3…and not seeing how to maintain playback while bouncing around the grooves like we could in SD2…?
This is a drawback we are aware of, and it is like this because of technical reasons. It affects the playback when changing Folder on the left. We will look at it, but I can’t tell you when this will be fixed… Thanks for the report!
