You need that midi info is within SD3 or in the DAW, but not in both places. Some people like to edit the midi in SD3 and some like to edit in DAW.

Just delete the midi in Logic if it’s in SD3. You’re triggering the midi twice I assume.

If you need midi to be in both places at the same time, mute the midi in one of the places.

I prefer to record directly into SD3’s Song Track, not my DAW’s track, and never move the midi to my DAW until it’s necessary. But everyone has their reasons to do one way or the other. My reasons are here.

Yes, I recorded on the Daw because I record simultaneously with a reference guitar and bass. So that they are all coordinated.

But I will delete the midi track from the Daw, I will touch it up with the grid editor and when it is final I will pass it back to the Daw to mix it with the other instruments.

    It’s correct, isn’t it?

    Thank you very much Shootie.

But if you edit it in the grid editor inside SD3, without midi track in the DAW, you don’t need to pass it back to the DAW. You can, but you don’t need that step.

That works. It just depends on what your needs are is all.

Ok perfect, thank you very much. In fact I have noticed that when bouncing it sounds much better without the midi track in the daw.
    All the best!
