Grid Editor – Sync Issue – Pro Tools

Hi

I hate to ask dumb questions but I’ve been looking around for a while now and I couldn’t find any solution :

When creating my drum track in SD3, I can’t drag/drop the clip where I want. Let’s say I want to place a clip on bar 2, SD3 won’t let me snap it correctly, and I have no choice than dropping it a little ahead of the bar and then select my notes and nudge them back in the position I want… I hope I’m being clear.

Follow host is activated. Plays along as it should,
All my other sync-able plugins ( like Melodyne, Breaktweaker, MPC, Stutter etc… ) are in perfect sync with the host.

Am I missing something ????

Hi,

your signature says that you are on SD3.1.0, so please update to 3.1.2.

I may be missing your point, since you first write about something that seems like a Snapping problem but then mention host sync.
