I haven’t figured out how to zero in on the grid editor when a mistake is at the end of one groove or the beginning of the next groove. In other words, if I want to zero in on the last 4 bars of one groove and the 1st bar of the second groove, how do I do this?
I find myself trying to get them lined up by moving my mouse pointer in my Sequencer (Samplitude) and pressing play until it’s close, but it’s frustrating and time-consuming.
I know there’s probably an easy way around this, but I haven’t figured it out yet.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated,
Paul

Hi,
not entirely sure I understand your question but you know that you can zoom in and set a loop in SD3? If you press shift+spacebar you start and stop the SD3 timeline regardless of your host position and timeline.

Thanks John, I saw people zooming in and out on Youtube without the mouse pointer moving, so I was wondering how they did that. So thanks, I’ll give it a try.
It’s only a problem when 2 grooves are involved and I’m trying to make changes at the end of one, or the start of the second. I find it hard to line them up so I zero in on an area.
thanks again!

With Grid Editor in focus, press Alt. in PC and scroll in and out with your mouse wheel.
SD3, EZD, EZ Keys 1&2, EZ Bass. Win10, i9/9900, all SSDs, 64g RAM, Cakewalk, Studio One

Likely they were either using a trackpad and pinching or they used keyboard shortcuts Cmd/Ctrl and -/+. Or used a mouse scroll wheel as Billy wrote above.
