Got the EZX Action! but there is almost no Midi files…. WTF!?

Hi there.

Did anyone purchase the Action!? I did but got very frustrated. Basically, you have 2 midi files from each kit – some kits have a bit more Midi files, but still, so frustrated.

I also have others EZX and in general all of them comes with a lot of Midi files.

So, after paying a lot of money for this expansion, will I need to get an extra Midi pack? Really?

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: macOS Mojave (10.14)

I contacted them, and the answer was “ Toontrack cannot refund or exchange software once it has been registered and downloaded (especially authorized for use), per our cancellation policy below“.

Yes, I’m aware of the policies. But I need to install and try the program to know if it will work or not for me… And my others EZX came with a decent amount of MIDI sequences. How would I know? I didn’t know this EZX came with almost no MIDI files.

I don’t have a midi controller, I need the midi sequences.

So, do I need to buy a MIDI pack now? And how do I know if the MIDI pack works fine for my needs? I also can’t hear/try them before buying…

Yes, you can.

You can use the “Show Webshop MIDI” function in EZD2 to brows any Toontrack MIDI pack or EZX MIDI to see and audition how many grooves ship with the pack or if they fit your needs.
