Please tell me how to create ghost note, or velocity differences on select drums, cymbals, etc. For example, in many recordings there are fills where 8th note hits graduate in volume to a peak… you know what I mean. Also, shuffles have ghost notes on a snare, high hats hits can go up and down in volume to create a groove, etc. How the hell do we do that? Thank you.
Articulations Shootie shows you all in this very indepth video on ezdrummer 2 he’s the best
Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, all the available Shootie tutorials didn’t address my question regarding ghost hits. They only addressed how to set different velocities on individual pieces of the kit, but nothing regarding gradual fluctuations of velocity on a particular kit piece within a beat pattern that could create a pulse. Is such a feature simply not available? Thanks.
That’s all it can do. Ghost notes are just very low velocity. If it isn’t good enough wait for EZDrummer 3 in a few days EZBass has better ways of doing the like and it should be in versions of EZDrummer I’m guessing
If Shootie doesn’t know it it doesn’t exist you should ask a question in his channell he’s an awesome guy who is very good at answering stuff.
