I’m trying to setup a midi map to corresponding with the config of my TD30. I have’t changed the TD30’s midi notes much, just a couple of added aux pads. So it should be easy enough. I do it in abbey rd all the time. I want to make this a general setting for all my SD3 patches. So I’m starting with the TD30 preset and trying to fix a few problems.
I probably just need help getting one pad remapped and then I can figure out the others.
For starters, the FT’s rim plays a snare sound and I can’t figure out how to change it. Midi notes out for the FT are correct. 41 for center, 39 for rim. And the remapping inside the SD3 midi mapping tool is remapping 39 to 73, which says its the SD3′ FT Rim. Fine. So why is there a snare sound at 73 and how do I change it?
Also, i have the PD120 Roland 2 zone pads. Can they be setup to use positional sensing at all? The SD3 manual says something about my snare can – but my snare is also just a PD120.
Thx
