Hi, For years I’ve used all of Toontrack’s drum programs while using a single stereo track and making any mixing adjustments while in the plugin itself. I use Logic 9 and I’m using Superior Drummer 3 and wanting to go multi-channel outputs. My question for those who use the program in Multi-channel output is:
Do you leave all the internal SD3 mixing faders set at 0.0 and do all level changes in the DAW?
Any other tips for using multi-channel would be GREATLY appreciated!
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!
I do both.
Sometimes I adjust levels in the S3 mixer. Sometimes I leave at unity in the S3 mixer and adjust in my DAW.
