    Hi,

    easiest way is to identify the keys that trigger Mute Hits, which would be note #50, #54, #56 and #58. You can see this in the MIDI layout for the EZX.
    Triggering those keys result in Mute Hits and the Velocity determines the length of the hit.

    You can also use AfterTouch with the regular hits but that requires means to trigger it, like in E-drum cymbal where you pinch the cymbal, or a keyboard with AfterTouch keys.
    AfterTouch is also filtered out by Default in some hosts.
