Galloping in Metal Beats?

The Metal Beats midi advertises “galloping double-bass work” but does not deliver that at all! In fact there’s is not a single gallop groove in this midi pack or the “Metal” six pack, and just to clarify… a gallop is not a triplet. It’s a group of short notes/beats (relatively speaking, usually in pairs) interspersed with longer notes. For example, if 8 represents an eight note and 4 represents a quarter note: 48848848844. I HIGHLY recommend that this figure be incorporated in the next iteration of metal midi pack(s) you produce. Otherwise, I have 0 complaints about your products.

I 100% agree with this request. I was contemplating purchasing the midi pack, but was turned off by finding out that it doesn’t have any galloping beats. This is also an even bigger issue if I want to utilize EZDrummer 2’s search function and song builder, as it seems Toontrack doesn’t have any packs with these sort of beats. This is especially an issue among many power metal composers who don’t have access to a drummer or aren’t strong in writing drum parts from scratch.

yea i looked thru a lot of the metal packs and no gallops in sight hope they add one soon with it ,,,, if not guess il just make one which would be a little work but its fine
