Hello –
I am using EZD3 via my TD27 kit to record drum tracks into Logic (as a MIDI track) and then bouncing them in Logic to audio files.
I am new to doing this. I am going to be sending the tracks as stems to a producer to do mixes.
The files sound fine to my ear…but they look very small compared to my vocal takes and other keyboard/live percussion tracks. I have had EZD3 set at 0 db (flat) when bouncing and exporting.
Should I be pushing the gain a bit when recording the MIDI (will that even make a difference?) or when bouncing from MIDI to audio in Logic? Or do you even think it’s a problem?
