I figured out a way to write my own drum beats on fruityloops and use ezdrummer to play them for me. it is a little long winded but it works. First off I am using FruityLoops 8 (But It Works on 9…and maybe others). If You Are comfortable Using FruityLoops to make your own beats, then you can make them in fruityloops. then when you are done mix the entire song(be sure the entire song button is pushed) down to midi format. Next under file (in fl) open your midi file that you just saved. it will ask you which tracks you want to import tell it ALL. Next insert an instance of ezdrummer. open ezd and change the midi port (top right corner) to port 1. Now Go To your first track in fruity loops and click on the instrument (not the wave pattern that you see) change the midi out port( middle of the panel on right) to port 1. then choose your drum sound on the little keyboard, then move on to the next track so on and so forth…
