This would be beneficial to workflow. I’m sure many use the emedded arranger in Superior Drummer 3 in conjunction with the DAW arrangement.
The problem: when you move things around in the arrangement you have to move individual blocks in SD3 accordingly so it still lines up.
What if we could just highlight a region of bars and ‘add time’, shifting everything after it by that length of region?
[or]
a ‘ripple edit’ feature, which moves events following the event that is being dragged when enabled.
I just use drum edit in Cubase. Much easier to keep all midi in one place.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
