just wondering…and purely for my own information,
on what occasion(s) would someone not want SD3 to follow the host?

Interesting! Maybe I do things differently, but I put all the SD3 midi’s into my DAW track(s) so I never have SD3 follow the host. Everything is in the host.

… “follow host” is turned on. Of course when I save the song I have it off but for every song, every time I open it, I have to go into SD3 and disable follow host.
Is there any way to turn this default off? I realize this is not a huge issue to do this every time but it would be convenient.

There seems to be a bug that doesn’t save the Follow Host state with the superior 3 project. I will take a note of this, since when you save your project in your DAW, the state of Follow Host should be saved too…

To set a default state of SD3 (what it should look like when you every time you start it), set up SD3 as you want, go to File menu and select “Set as Default Project”. The next time SD3 is started, it will load that default project.

    Thanks for the report!

    Thanks. That makes sense.

Hi Henrik – I already tried this and even when my default has follow host off, when I save that and restart the song, follow host is on. Thanks!
