Is there a way to tell SD3 not to activate Follow Host by default?
I’m working in a project with several instances of SD3, and I’m using the host (DAW – Cubase) to write. Each time I open the project however, the ‘Follow Host’ button defaults to being active.
I would love to know if there’s a way to prevent this.
thx

Hi,
this has been reported earlier and if I’m not mistaken will be corrected in the next update.

A workaround for this issue until the update is released is to either:

Thanked by: onewayout_1A workaround for this issue until the update is released is to either:
- clear the SD3 song track from MIDI
or
- add another song track tab, and have the new blank song track selected
- This is the easiest way to avid playing the MIDI both from the DAW and from SD3, but still having the MIDI on a song track in SD3
good ideas
thanks
i asked the same question a while back. the one workaround works which is clear everything from the song you’re working on in SD3
Note that if you just add another song track tab instead of deleting the MIDI, you can keep all the MIDI in SD3 which has its advantages!
