Thank you. I will try that(again) I’m pretty sure I did that yesterday. I did not work.  Also, the guy that sold me the software in the music store  knows a bit about the software and gets around fairly well on a Mac. He had me look in the library on the hard disk and go into the graphics folder. There were no graphics in the folder except for cymbals graphics.   He said essentially, there were no graphics to connect to except for cymbals.  He sent me his. I unzip them and direct them to the graphics folder. I restarted and it still did not work. I thought you were answering someone else but I tried it. I’ll try again but it’s a week now and I really need this resolved today. I want to by another SDX but I am waiting till this is in the past.

    • Ok, so you installed the latest software update, and the graphics still doesn’t work (you can only see generic e-drum graphics)?
    • Have you move any Toontrack folders manually after the installation?

No. The only thing my guy at the store did was send me his graphics folders that I was missing. The floating pads issue was a problem from the start and his fix did not fix the problem. There were no graphics folders in the tree under the Cymbals folder. But, the software will not connect with them. My Jazz EZX looks fine graphically, but non of my SD3 graphic show.

    • Just so I follow you – have you tried to re-install the latest software update?
    • Are you using Windows or Mac?

Mac. Can’t send a screenshot because it says the file is too big however it looks all green check marks before and after downloading and shows installed.

What files and folders are in your SL-SuperiorDrummer3/GraphicsV3 folder?

The common issue is that there are images and folders missing there, but re-installing the latest software update usually fixes that problem…

    Mac HD>Library>Application Support>SL-Superior Drummer 3>GraphicsV3

    Background.png

Cymbal, HiHat, Kick, Snare, Stand, Tom

but, until Johnny(my guy here) send me the missing folders, all there was was Background.png, and Cymbal.

Each of those folders contains other folders and unzipped files complete with pictures.

Again, the floating pads were an issue from the start and I had(as Johnny told me) missing folders.

    The reinstalling didn’t work.

These files should be in the GraphicsV3 folder. If those are the one you got from the retailer, try to add those there.

How do I get there? Copy them from GraphicsV3 to where? If they are complete, I believe they are, they are now in the Graphics V3 location

Henrik, please, I’m still waiting to get resolution to this problem. I won’t be back at my Mac for another 5 or so hours but, I thought I get a jump on the day. What is clear to me(I think) is that my install did not give me a complete tree of graphics files that were supposed to be in my graphicsV3 folder. I said that I got the missing ones from my retailer and I don’t know how to be any more clear on this. I followed all the install directions, I got green check marks “ready to use” on everything I installed. I did the update you proposed 4 times and still, a week later, I’m no closer to this resolution. When I’ve had issues with a few other software companies, by this time, they got on TeamViewer, and straightened me out. As I said previously, I love the product but, this problem, and the lack of a solution to it for this long is getting irritating. Please contact me or get me someone that can give me the time to deal with this so I can move forward. I apologize for my being tense about this but I am on my last nerve. There is nothing that going into the manual is going to show me on this apparent incomplete install. I am holding off purchasing additional SDX’s until this is resolved. Thank you for the attention that you have given me thus far. I look forward to working with you today or another tech today that can get this problem behind me ~Vinny

    • Yes, my idea was that it could be solved by you copying the graphics files you got from the retailer to the GraphicsV3 folder.
    • Regarding the reinstallation of the update – you are sure that you reinstalled the Sound Library Part 1 update? It won’t help to install the update for the SD3 software, for example.

I have asked some colleagues to take a look at this issue, if my latest suggestions doesn’t help you…

Thank you. I will not be  back to my computer till at least 3 PM Eastern. I’m pretty sure I did it right but I will check again. With respect to copying the files to the graphics V3. That was already done Saturday. It did not make a difference.
