Flange sound on EZdrummer 3

Help!

I couldn’t find anything here to resolve this…

I am running EZDrummer 3 in Steinberg Nuendo. I don’t have any midi data playing back on the track yet, so I don’t think this is a “follow host” button issue. I only have one instance of EZD on, and that’s the only audio output that is routed to my main bus. All other audio sounds fine. But when trying to listen to midi grooves inside EZD or when playing my Roland kit through EZD plugin, it sounds like I have a serious phase issue, no matter what kit I use…like flanger on it or something…This never used to happen and suddenly started happening lately….what am I missing here??

Running EZD3.0.6 on Windows 10 PC, with UAD Apollo Twin…doubt any of that has to do with it but i dunno.

does it happen when you are running in standalone mode? it’s not happening for me in Cakewalk Sonar or standalone mode (i am using headphones not speakers)

i only have the basic kit with bright room, main room, and tight room and the studio and singer/songwriter kits are the same collection. so maybe you’re using another kit which is the source?

Is this happening when you play a groove from the time line in standalone?

Can you switch from your UAD Apollo to the internal speakers and see if it still happens?

Need more information on this. Are you experiencing this when using a controller or playing a MIDI groove?

i’m using EZ Drummer in Logic without any of these issues. Thus, it would help to provide as much detail as possible, in order to better help you.

Hi,

if you check the MIDI Out Settings, by clicking the small menu in the lower right corner of the plug-in; is the MIDI Out Enabled? If it is, does the problem go away if you Disable it?
