Hi,
I’m trying to set up an fl studio mobile drum kit (.insr) for ez drummer.
Fl studio mobile instruments only allow a total of 32 sounds max, and all i want is just something real basic (like the center hits of each piece) that would let me flesh out basic midi patterns and then bring them into EZ Drummer. The problem I’m having seems to be with the mapping.
Despite the pretty comprehensive pdf document that comes up when you call it from the sound library/mapping menu, I still can’t quite figure out what notes do what.
For some reason the midi I make from the fl studio drumkit doesn’t seem to “activate” the notes/drum parts of ez drummer (for example, I have a snare firing off a tom, and a tom firing off a ride or something).
I even tried taking midi from ez drummer, pasting it into fl studio, mapping it out the way it’s supposed to sound, and then pasting it back in. For the life of me I can’t figure out why everything gets switched around.
There’s a pretty cool thread in here that has a download link for an fl studio project that is setup correctly to take midi into Ez drummer, using the ez drummer plugin:

What I want to do though is to just have an .instr that can right simple, basic midi patterns that I can bring into ez drummer from FL studio mobile.
Any help would be much appreciated.
