I run into this problem with EZ Keys and EZ Bass a few times. I start work on a new song using a template that already has EZ Keys and EZ Bass in it. I change the key in the Logic Pro X project but don’t notice that one or both of the EZ products isn’t checked to follow the key in the project. I build out an entire track in EZ Keys and EZ Bass and only then notice that the keys in the Toontrack products don’t match the project key. It’s my mistake for not having EZ Keys and EZ Bass follow the project from the beginning but as someone who struggles with attention deficit, it is a mistake I make too often and can’t figure out how to fix. At that point, I can’t change the Toontrack keys to match or the midi will be transposed and no longer match the other instruments in the project.
Is there a way to get the EZ Keys and EZ Bass keys to match the project key so the proper chords are noted?
Are you stating that you added your chords but the key signature was in another key? f that’s the case, you can change the key without transposing the song. Use the no transpose song key.
As far as having any of the ToonTrack products follow key, while they are part of the MIDI standard, they are not a part of the real-time performance aspect of the standard (Key signature is part of the metadata in a MIDI file). So, unfortunately, you are not going to get that information from Logic when you change keys. Although, I’m more ASD than ADD, I’m in a similar boat as you as I am laser focused on a different aspect and totally channel out the key change. Thus, checking the key signature is more of a pre-flight check habit. There’s no real way around that.

Thanks. I hadn’t come across the “No Transpose Key.” That should be what I’ve been looking for.
