No surprise, it took Hollywood and the movies to sort this one out.
Maybe it’s just me, but I find the EZ 2 GUI tiny to the point that I just can’t read the small stuff. Has anyone else noticed this?
Maybe like GForce’s Minimonsta (just too old to warrant re-writing at this late date, so destined to remain in TinyVille) or whatever, but…I found a solution that works great (see attached photo).
Really cool Hobby Glasses. And really cheap, too. While you don’t need the built-in headlights to illuminate your MAC screen (sorry, that was tacky), they [the headlights] are useful to scare away unwanted neighborhood children who might come around, distracting you, as you work on Drum Programming.
And, no, this is not a joke post. My display sits exactly 24″ from my seated position. The EZ GUI is magnified easily X2 and the WHAT WERE unreadable, small details are in razor-sharp focus, besides being now plenty large. Plus, the lights really work and even permit battery replacement.
Amazon offers a pair that look more like something Darrin Stephens (husband on Bewitched) might wear. Personally, I prefer the HORROR version.
Perhaps Toontrack has corrected the problem by now and I’m simply behind the times. Dunno.
Assuming not, then…whether EZ 2 or any of your old, fave dinoware synths, these glasses will bring your microscopic GUIs into current-day, Ginormous SIZE.
I think that Slate Drums have a resizable GUI and likely SUPERIOR DRUMS does as well. So, maybe it’s a Top Tier feature for those who Pay Up or it’s simply a matter of IN TIME and BE PATIENT.
I hope this helps someone SEE more clearly.
I agree, It’s much too small. It has to be something the toontrack people can fix! We are not 20 years old anymore. Please fix it!
