In my installs, Toontrack software is dumping midi and audio into the ProgramData/Toontrack/[plugin]/ folders.
I’m getting this with EZKeys2 and EZD3, and confirmed with other users it also occurs with EZBass.
It seems to be files created when editing midi in the Toontrack plugins, or when using bandmate. But honestly, I’m not sure what it’s doing. I don’t know whether these are just temporary files, or whether they are still required to be there if you try to open a project weeks or months later?
I think it’s bad, because there will eventually be many hundreds of cluttered, disorganised files in these folders from dozens of projects, and there’s no way to separate them into project folders, identify them by project, manage them, or easily clean/prune the files that aren’t needed anymore.
Any comment or information from the Toontrack team is welcomed.

thanks for the heads up – yeah – this is poorly done. if this is meant to cache recent used content it shouls be in some cache or temp folder for eaasy cleanup or reuse. if not needed, then should not be stored at all… definitely not well thought out.
