You probably could but if you’re that short of storage you’re going to run into issues if you want to add another SDX or utility or program. Maybe dedicate a separate drive to store your samples/SDX’s on? While you may not be using certain sections now but what about in the future?

Seeing as the fields of rock sdx is divided into 4 separate libraries both in the plugin and in the file system, is it possible/safe to delete individual unused libraries from the fields of rock folder to free up space?

I would take Jack’s suggestion and get yourself a nice fat external SSD and move everything to it, storage relatively cheap these days.

If you look sub folders you can see where the sections are but I have no idea what that would do to the overall configuration of the SDX.

I’ll add to what Brad and Jack said and add, don’t get a 1 TB drive!!!! I’m already look at the SDXs on sale this month and realizing I will need a 2 TB drive. Which I do have actually, so I’ll have to shuffle the decks soon….

If you can afford it get a 4tb drive. I have a 2 tb and need to get a bigger one. A few things you can never have too much of – money/ram/storage space.
