i paid $700 for this and i cant understand why it doesnt come with libraries when you install. You have to install them seperatly? Which is not working. I downloaded 2 other things one called midi and updater.. the midi installs but i have no idea where. The updater does nothing because it cant find anything to update. When i load superior drummer 3 it says no library and i have no idea where it is and i cannot locate any library.
this should be in the installation not seperate and for this price it should work immidiately….
How do i fix this?
I have checked FAQ and the install help is useless
SD3 by itself is $350-$400. Sounds like for $700 you bought that and several SDX expansions? If so you should have several product registration codes. Install the free product manager from http://www.toontrack.com and click register product and type in a code, repeat. Downloading will take a long time. Then install. Might be some updates to install. Then use em.

Thanked by: drumjack52The main SD3 package comes with a huge library of drums and MIDI. As Tom says, it takes a LONG time to download. The application itself is about 230 gigabytes. The core library is 235 gigabytes. If you got several SDX expansions you probably have another 50-100 gig of sounds and MIDI to download. Set aside a large chunk of time and follow the directions.
From the installation instructions:
“Due to the size of the library and to ensure that each customer freely can decide in what capacity he or she wants to utilize the source material, the product is configured in six (6) convenient download packages. Start by installing the software and then add each package in sequence as you go.”
