scenario:
Compose and record song section using guitar and generate bass line from audio using audio tracker

compose and record next section using guitar and generate bass line from audio using audio tracker

It would be great if there were options for the ‘add midi to song’ feature to:

remove the trailing empty bars generated I presume by EZbass relative to the DAW playhead

possibly a merge option for tracks?

 

Also be nice to be able to drag and drop midi directly from a DAW track  in Logic Pro – as far as I can tell this is not available (apologies if this is an rtfm situation!)

Hey Graculus,

We have a similar feature request already for the Audio Tracker, I’ve added your suggestion to that.

Regarding drag and drop, it depends on the DAW. For Logic, you can drag and drop MIDI from EZbass into Logic, but not the other way around.

I don’t know if this will help but I found in Reaper you can drag midi from Ezbass to the desktop, then from there into Ezbass. This is still quicker than recording it real time into Ezbass from the DAW track.

So if your Logic Proc can drag midi from a track onto your operating system, where Ezbass can now see it, then that might be a workaround.In Reaper you hold ctrl+alt and you can drag midi from any track onto your desktop or some other folder. Ezbass can then see it, like any other midi on your system.
