Bar offsets? When are they ignored? Please explain.

    Hi Olof,

OK So…. I have a bar offset of 6 bars (Cubase / Nuendo) in all my projects. This enables me to have Bar Zero show up after 5 negative bars. (Timecode starts at zero also for me). The logic here is that I can add short intro and other things before bar 0 (or 1). Many of us do this.

    So to reproduce this:

    • Set Project Bar offset to something like 5 or 6.
    • Open EZBass
    • Move Cubase song pointer to zero (see screen shot).
    • EZB song pointer moves to Bar 5.
    • Move Cubase song pointer to Bar 24, EZB moves to 29.

    I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the input. Cubase doesn’t report any info to the plugins about this bar offset, so we would have to add a similar feature in EZbass – where you manually enter the same value as in Cubase.

I’ll add this to our Feature Request list, and if it seems to be a common problem we’ll have another look at it!
