I would like to be able to assign a MIDI control surface switch to the Mute button of a channel’s Bus Send.
That way it would be possible to temporarily bypass a Send without affecting its volume. These particular mute buttons are not currently MIDI-learnable.
Related: make the Effects Enable buttons (for all, or individual effects) MIDI-learnable as well.

+1. I would also like to have the ability to use MIDI Learn when SD3 is launched from my DAW. Today I can’t do that. Thanks
Hey monospace,
I’ve sent your request to our developers!
Maurockstar: This depends on your DAW. If your DAW forwards MIDI CC to Superior, then MIDI Learn should work.

Thanks Erik! I’m really enjoying playing around with Macros and MIDI learn but there are some things that I wish were possible that currently aren’t.
FWIW Midi learn works within Logic Pro. It takes a bit of effort, but if your control surface has “banks” you could set up different controls for SD3 and the DAW to really enhance your workflow.

+1 for this. It would also be useful to be able automate bypassing plugins in a mix channel. Currently all the control paramaters of a plugin can be assigned to a macro, but you can’t assign turning a plugin on/off, which is frustrating.
