if you want to load another Preset from the same library, you can click the small arrow next to the preset name (or Alt/Option + click the preset name) to select parts from a preset. There is also a ‘Keep Added Instruments’ option there, which will keep added percussion instruments.
This will not work if you want to load a preset from another library, though.
Ya. that works I guess. It’s not exactly easy to do reaching over from the drum stool. It would be nice if there was a preference to always maintain loaded instruments.
